While the Greenway/Q22 is a shared access pathway the pavement is still the pavement and rule 64 of the highway code states never ride on the pavement. The pavement is not part of the Greenway/Q22 it is the pavement. The fence line across the gates is the property line that defines the boundary between Greenway/Q22 and pavement.<br /><br />While a toucan crossing allows pedestrians to walk and cyclists to ride across. You still can't ride on a pavement to get to the crossing.<br />Highway code... Section 64<br />Something that confuses many cyclists is whether or not they are allowed to cycle on the pavement. According to Laws HA 1835 section 72 & RSA 1984, section 129, cyclists must not cycle on the pavement.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12214023428707789174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3410982774062066015.post-26998274089890722062019-09-03T18:20:12.929+01:002019-09-03T18:20:12.929+01:00A mate of mine just got bike jacked, look out for ...A mate of mine just got bike jacked, look out for a pair of black teenagers with just one bike, it is the get away bike, they were also after his phone but did not pull a knife. Did you go down past the South Lawn (or Orbit Circus as it was during the games), then via a path to the footbridge over Stratford High Street? I went back for the World Athletics Championships in 2017, and wanted to avoid the crowds going to Stratford Station. I found it very frustrating trying to find out how to get to the Greenway. Neither the Police nor the volunteers knew how to get there. I eventually found a way via Warton Road and Stratford High Street, but finding that the footbridge had gone, and a section of the Greenway was closed made it even more disorientating. I did walk to West Ham Station once, but unlike during the games, when I was part of a throng, only a few people went that way. Any information you have on this would be very interesting.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04527446459259189098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3410982774062066015.post-33512967880771391502019-01-22T08:45:11.849+00:002019-01-22T08:45:11.849+00:00Yeah, a map would be great.Yeah, a map would be great.Huddohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14912125997864691470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3410982774062066015.post-61011108901249311422019-01-15T08:30:37.824+00:002019-01-15T08:30:37.824+00:00Thank you for this impression of this impression o...Thank you for this impression of this impression of a route over a serious length in London.
